Shipping & Returns

USA Shipping

Most items we sell are shipped via UPS and ALL ITEMS SHIP FULLY INSURED AGAINST FREIGHT DAMAGE. Large items or orders must occasionally ship via truck freight. However, we are happy to make any arrangements that are required.

To determine transit time see the ship time maps on the individual product pages or give us a call. Some made to order items ship from the manufacturer's location. For example, Dayus orders ship from MI and Steelcrest items ship from AZ.

Orders to HI and AK will typically not see a shipping cost displayed at checkout. If the shipping cost is not shown, we will advise and bill you the ACTUAL cost (if you approve) of the shipment once it is available from UPS/USPS.

Shipping to Canada

We love orders from our Canadian friends! All the items you see on Grillesmith can ship to any Canadian province.

How does shipping work? Please add the items your would like to purchase to your basket and do a standard checkout/purchase. You will be able to enter your Canadian shipping address into the checkout page but the shipping costs will not always be shown during checkout (only displayed for certain provinces). If the shipping cost is not shown, we will advise and bill you the ACTUAL cost (if you approve) of the shipment once it is available from UPS/USPS. Please note that additional charges such as duties and Canadian taxes may apply (typically collected by UPS/USPS during delivery).

Our default Canadian shipping service is USPS but we will ship UPS on request. USPS shipments are typically delivered by the Canadian Postal Service. Just note your preferred shipping method during checkout (notes section) or give us a call.


Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on all non-custom products. All returns must be pre-authorized and have a return authorization form included in the box. Items must be in their original packaging, never installed or modified, and in re-sellable condition. Restocking charges apply for all products - 10% to 15% depending on the product. Credit is applied once the returned item is received and inspected. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges on non-defective product returns. This includes shipping in both directions for any FREE SHIPPING promotions. CUSTOM AND MADE TO ORDER products (such as Dayus, Steelcrest, Grillesmith, Majestic, Vexell or other custom grilles) are NOT returnable. Under anti-money laundering rules, refunds on goods bought by credit card must be re-credited to that same credit card -- They cannot be made in cash, check or transferred to a third party.
